Happy Independence Day!

The festive flip flops Daisy & I made for July

I love the 4th of July! Everyone is always so patriotic and I, of course, love the fireworks! This year we went up to Eaglewood Golf Course on the 3rd. My dad is the sound technician for the music so we go every year and have perfect seats right in front! Once Daisy gets over how loud it is, she has fun dancing around. We usually take a break halfway through the night and go play on all the blow-up toys in the parking lot. There is always TONS of people, and this year was no exception! But it's such a blast, it wouldn't be Independence Day without it!

Daisy cheesin' it in the cute dress Nana made. It was a bit chilly after the sun went down.

Dancing around with her 2nd cousins, Makayla & Makenna

Daisy & Sydney (another 2nd cuz) kept trying to pick each other up
and then would wrestle into giggle fits. It was so cute!

The next day we went up to the Williams' and had an awesome BBQ and lots of outdoor fun. The kids got into a water fight and had so much fun playing outside for most of the afternoon. My camera battery died, so I only got a few pictures, but it was great to see all the grandkids play together so well! Then that night, we came back to my parents house and gathered all the neighbors and had a little fireworks display of our own. It definitely brought me back to my childhood and it was a little surreal to see Daisy experiencing the same memories. I love America!

Whitney had reign over the hose (she's the oldest) so she was filling up the pool
and squirting all the other kids. They actually loved it!

How Daisy enjoys the fireworks. She actually takes your hands
and places them on her ears! Thanks Melissa!
